Project Overview

Merry Hill Golf Club required a long-term pavement maintenance solution for both their main parking lot and 27-hole cart path system. The pavement was showing widespread cracking and localized failures, but full replacement was neither necessary nor aligned with the club’s budget or operational priorities.

The primary objective was to stabilize aging asphalt, improve ride quality for golfers, and extend the service life of the pavement without disrupting daily play or course operations. Maintaining access, safety, and appearance during peak golf season was critical.

Before any work began, the entire site was thoroughly assessed, including the parking lot and all cart paths across the course. Each area was reviewed for crack density, failure patterns, and repair priority. Based on this assessment, a tailored maintenance plan was developed that addressed immediate concerns while delaying the need for repaving.

All work was scheduled during off-peak hours to minimize disruption to golfers, staff, and course traffic. The result was a cost-effective, targeted rehabilitation program that preserved the club’s assets while maintaining a high-quality experience for members and guests.

What we’ve done

Completed full crack filling of the parking lot and all cart paths across the 27-hole course using hot rubber crack filler to prevent water intrusion and slow further deterioration.

Performed multiple targeted hot patch repairs throughout the course to correct localized failures and restore smooth travel along high-use cart paths.

Used portable crack filling equipment and a mobile hot box to access narrow cart paths and remote areas without impacting course operations.

Re-striped the parking lot to restore clear traffic flow, parking organization, and overall site appearance.

Delivered a detailed digital layout outlining all repair areas and completed work, providing the client with clear documentation for future maintenance planning.

Executed all work during off-peak hours to maintain uninterrupted golf play and minimize disruption across the property.
