DT Asphalt Maintenance was founded with a simple philosophy: most pavement problems don’t require the biggest or most expensive solution—they require the right one.
We work with commercial property owners, facility managers, and single-site operators across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Southern Ontario who want their pavement handled properly. That means understanding how asphalt fails, knowing when to intervene, and being honest about what does and does not need to be done.
Over the years, we’ve seen the same pattern repeat itself: short-term fixes turn into long-term problems when work is rushed, poorly planned, or driven by upsells instead of judgment. Our role is to prevent that.
We take pride in our portfolio of completed projects, reflecting a consistent focus on quality execution, practical solutions, and long-term value for property owners and managers.
We manage and maintain over three million square feet of commercial pavement across Southern Ontario through structured, condition-based maintenance programs.
Through planned maintenance and rehabilitation, we help property owners extend pavement service life and defer major capital replacement.
At DT Asphalt Maintenance, our work is guided by one core idea: pavement performs best when it’s managed deliberately, not reactively. We focus on understanding how each site functions, how the pavement is failing, and what sequence of work will deliver the longest service life for the least unnecessary cost. Our approach is shaped by real-world conditions, long-term performance, and accountability—rather than quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions.

No. Many commercial parking lots are structurally sound and can be restored through targeted repairs, crack filling, sealcoating, and re-striping. Full repaving is only recommended when the pavement has reached the end of its service life.
We assess pavement condition, traffic patterns, drainage, and existing failures on site. Recommendations are based on performance and timing—not on selling the largest scope of work.
A parking lot revamp focuses on repairing and protecting existing pavement to extend its life at a lower cost. Repaving involves removing and replacing asphalt and is only required when the pavement structure has failed.
We plan work around how each site actually operates. For active commercial properties such as car dealerships, funeral homes, churches, golf facilities, and manufacturing sites, we regularly complete work in phases, on weekends, or overnight when required. This allows parking, access routes, and daily operations to continue with minimal disruption. Scheduling and sequencing are part of the scope—not an afterthought.
Manage pavement like an asset—not a repair bill. Receive occasional notes on planning, maintenance, and cost-effective rehabilitation.
