This project at 485 Pinebush Road in Cambridge involved a coordinated pavement scope across a mixed-surface commercial site. Portions of the property had been newly paved, while other areas remained in serviceable condition but required rehabilitation. The goal was to create a cohesive, professional finish across the entire site without unnecessary replacement.
Working in coordination with Capture Construction, the site required precise line striping within a concrete parking garage as well as a complete new layout for all parking lines, symbols, and hatchings on newly paved asphalt areas. Accuracy, layout consistency, and compliance with the site’s updated design were critical to ensure proper traffic flow and usability.
For the remaining asphalt areas that had not been repaved, a targeted maintenance approach was used. Rather than replacing pavement that was still structurally sound, the focus was on extending its service life through crack filling, surface preparation, and a double-coat commercial sealcoating application.
By combining new layout striping with rehabilitation of existing pavement, the project delivered a clean, unified appearance across the site while keeping costs controlled and minimizing unnecessary work.
Completed full re-striping within the concrete parking garage, including all parking stalls, symbols, and hatch markings to match the updated site layout.
Laid out and applied new striping on newly paved asphalt areas, ensuring consistency across all lines, directional markings, and accessibility features.
Performed systematic crack filling on existing asphalt sections to prevent water intrusion and slow pavement deterioration.
